At the tender age of 23, Rae Lewis-Thornton was diagnosed HIV Positive. Despite her present day status of having full-blown AIDS (ACQUIRED Immune-deficiency Syndrome), Rae Lewis-Thornton leads her own unending crusade to educate and challenge young and old audiences to take control of their own bodies, futures and health. Rae uses her life as an example that AIDS is a non-discriminatory disease. She challenges the most common myths and stereotypes surrounding who and how one can become infected with the HIV virus that most often results in AIDS and death. In doing this, she incorporates her own oratory skills, personal experiences and unyielding honesty to create and disseminate her critical and deadly message of her own day by day, personal destruction by AIDS.

Seriously. Where are the guys that open car and building doors? The men that pull out chairs and stand when a lady enters or exits a room? Where are the guys that walk on the outside of the sidewalk? I need to know what happened to them. My dad did those things so it cant be a…
Alright, fellas. Don’t stand there all dumb-looking when she sits in the car waiting for you to open the door. (You’ll be half-way through the parking lot before you notice she’s waiting…) Don’t get an attitude when you see her standing outside the car waiting for you to come around and open the door. (No, opening the door from the inside does NOT cut it. 0 points there.)
I often forget to stand when ladies enter the room. I see NONE of the other men in the room even sit forward in their seat when a woman walks in. It’s a lost courtesy. I want it back.
Be the man. Blow her mind. You won’t be sorry.
Boys will use the word “love” to get sex. (“You know I love you baby.”)
Girls will use sex to find “love.”
Boys usually win at this game. Girls rarely.
