Photo 27 Aug I like PDAs between married people.  Everybody likes it at the wedding. Like it was their first kiss ever, right?  (For a very few, the wedding kiss is the first kiss ever, and you can tell!)

Sadly, after they’ve “gotten a room” or house or apartment together, year by year, the public affection gradually goes away.  Watch a couple crossing the street.  Are they holding hands?  If yes, they are young lovers, and usually not married.  Funny how “sexual liberation” hasn’t raised the romance factor in marriages.

I want to see more married people showing more PDA.  I think passion and physicality get taken for granted as the couple trudges through life.  Slowly, the struggles of just making it day to day have a way of sapping the fun of flirtation from marriage.

Why flirt if you fully possess each others bodies in marriage?  Because it’s fun!  And because in my personal campaign for the promotion of marriage, I want to see passion restored to the institution of marriage, couple by couple.

Any limits of good, healthy PDA (besides legal ones)?  Hold hands.  Kiss like you’re at your wedding.  Reach for each other like you WANT each other.  And as with any display, exhibition or show, leave your audience wanting more, wondering about what comes next behind closed doors.
